Default Vulcan Nomad

Hi All I just bought a VN1700 Classic Tourer and yes I am a chick.

Loving the bike, will be touring Wales on it this weekend with all my camping gear and boyfriend.

Thanks Guys. The ride went well, covered 740 miles in three days, below is a pic with 150ish miles to go. She is a bit of a barge around town, especially in the wet with odd cambers but on the open road absolutely fantastic. Loved the pull out of the corners with the middle gears and the cruise control really helped my wrist on the dual carriageways, guess it doesn't get as much exercise as yours chaps heehee.

Looks good. Had one but crashed and burned. Back on a triumph again just couldn't do corners on that thing without burying it into tarmac. Happy riding.

No unfortunately not does look better tho. Almost pass as modern art. A ton of shit stuck together, time to deliver to the tate.

Sorry Chris, but too much time money and effort will have gone in to that to make it eligible for the Tate. Try writing your name on some porcelain ware instead, or sticking some building material into a neat pile.

Running out of road? Just lean a bit more, no problems. Err not on this barge, all cornering must be planned and signed off by and independent committee. Still loving it though.

Really nice bike..I would not be ashamed to ride that..

Please fill in the User CP up there on the left to let us know where you are and give us a bit of a report of where you were in Wales..I was doing the coast at about that time..
