Jesse James Will Battle The Teutuls In 2 American Chopper TV Shows In December

Quote:
On May 15, 2011 I broke the news that Jesse James would return to TV in a 3-way build-off with the Teutuls, Paul Jr. and Paul Sr. This afternoon, Jesse just confirmed to me that the face-off will be “live” on 2 consecutive nights on the Discovery Channel, December 5 and 6, 2011 both shows at 9 pm eastern time.

On December 5, the 3 custom builders, Jesse, Paul Jr. and Paul Sr. in a regular show of “American Chopper” will shown building their respective bikes front of the cameras, followed by viewers vote to select their favorite. The following evening December 6, the winning bike will be revealed in a live broadcast from Las Vegas.

In 2000, the Discovery Channel made Jesse James famous with the TV series “Motorcycle Mania” Jesse left the network 5 years ago for new ventures and a new series on Spike TV. So, it’s his big return on the Discovery Channel and I know that all chopper fans are going to mark their calendars for the 2 nights of Dec. 5 & 6.

Should be one man only to work on each of the three bikes, much fairer and more honest test of skills.

To be fair PJD has turned out some nice bikes, Paul Sr has no input, only to say no to things and the guy who designs their bikes has no engineering knowledge or bike knowledge, just a copy of solid works.

Jesse has turned out some nice bikes recently the cisco tribute was good.

Default toys will be thrown

out of prams again....I wonder if I can hack the wiki to replace Teutul (? tuttle?)(as in fred) with 'tedious'???

tuttle aka tedious:

Murcans with strong ability to haul 'products' of shelves & whine until the a.m. when the bolt holes are not perfectly aligned.... etc.

It'd be more interesting to see 'em build summat in a shed round the back of the house, with Black and Decker drills, angle grinders, their mates, and Ebay.
Like people in the real world do.

Yep and they won't have a designer price tag on them either.

I reckon only one of the three could do that with any success, occ & pjd are just businesses with some talented employees, jesse is a more than decent fabricator and welder.

I don't think bikers are the target audience for these shows, just some different shit for the masses to hoover up.
