Default I'm bored to death.

My bike is up on blocks in my garage waiting for bits that were promised for last thursday, I've got a rotton cough and headache and I can't wait to get back on the road..If these parts take much longer to arrive I will be too bloody old to ride my bike..My licence runs out when I'm 70..

John.

Default bikes v. sun

Like Johno' I'm a bit bikeless at the mo'

having to ride 'er indoors's Savage as t'harley is having new sprockets....(awaiting delivery)

I think there's sumthing about the Sun: as soon is it blazes yer bike wilts.

I can think of a handful of folks right now who've got 'issues' with their bikes but rode them throughout the rain n shit only to be riding donor 'peds, 125's etc.

I just fitted kits to the master and slave clutch cylinders on one of my Honda VT700's only to find I need a new bleed nipple and the local bike shop is closed today..

The old saying "bragging or complaining" comes to mind..

Default I feel your pain

I know how you feel John, the axle on my trike cracked through on the way to a rally a month ago, managed to get a new axle as the other one is trashed, but I have basically got to totally redesign the entire back end of the trike as the original builder tied all the frame and rearseat directly onto the axle which is what caused it to crack pretty much right the way round. Added to that I have nowhere proper to work on it, my finances are pretty much non exsistent and my disability restricts how much I can do, so its looking doubtful that it will be back on the road anytime this year. Not a sob story, just letting you know I understand your pain!!!

Hope you get all your bits in very soon and have everything fixed and back on the road ASAP.

Default Fed Up

Nah you can't be, you come from Tredegar, my mate lives at Synod Inn and he don't get fed up, he just has a visit to BaHBaHraous field for 1/2 an hour.

Us lot the other side of the border, well you know what we are, we just make do with ourselves. And have a go at knitting.

Found the bits today..a phonecall to South Wales Superbikes confirmed that they were posted, recorded delivery on Wednesday, but they had addressed them to number 15 instead of number 5, apparantly the order details had become smudged..number 15 is a closed shop undergoing repairs so the postman had returned the package to the sorting office, where after telling me nothing could be done for at least five working days, someone looked to see if it had been returned..and there it was..I managed to get half the work done and may be able to finish it tomorrow, then a test ride the day after, a couple of weeks worth of dirt to scrub off me and my clothes and if all goes well I should be able to start my ride again..

John.
