Default Big brother is watching you!

Are we really surprised that this information is being made available to the authorities?

Everytime you use a credit or debit card, everytime you log on on-line and every website you visit, everytime you go for a drive using a satnav, every phonecall you make or recieve, its ALL traceable back to you. This information is gathered to provide interested parties with information with which they can use to provide you with a "better service". How long will it be before this information falls into the wrong hands bearing in mind our civil services inability to keep sensitive personal information about British subjects safe?

Just because I'm paranoid doesnt meant they aint out to get me!
Can't wait for the weekend. I mean, come on, after Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says W T F!

What gets me is that the only people they catch are the ones who co-operate with the company by supplying the data in surveys..the police use the data to increase their revenue from registered motorists, meanwhile the bloke who is not taxed, insured, or MOT'd and buys or steals a vehicle without bothering to register it can get away with murder..

Is it time we relaxed the driving laws and used our police force to catch criminals instead.

Maybe the odd thief, murderer, wife beater, Illegal immigrant, druggie and even terrorist.

In reply to Fungus.
Yup the civil service did lose a lot of information as did the secret service!

So security was improved.

Until I got poorly I was working in training, and they gave me a laptop.
This held all the PowerPoint etc for the courses I was teaching.

Under the new security regime they encrypted the hard drive.

You know, so that no-one could steal the information we were spending good money on to teach people.
