this is the tale of the bsa build, it cost a smidgeon over 300 quid including the cost of the original bike as in the before pic, and a complete rebuild from the ground up, who says building bikes is dear!!!! its a couple of years old, and the ending is quite sad, well it is for me, but its worth reading!

Good read there John, I like rebuild stories. As you said, shame about the ending.

Father in law has a 125 sat in his shed, along with various Triumphs and GS's. I love that shed.

heres a tale of how different people think different things.
ive always wanted a bike in the house as an ornament, why should the things we live amongst all be useless trinkets and nick nacks, the bantam seemed perfect, i didnt use it any more, but had owned it for years and so didnt want to get rid of it, at the same time, it seemed a shame that it should live under a sheet in the shed and be untouched and unseen. so, i decided that as it was 60 years old it was suitably antiquated and unusual to make it look right parked in the corner and lit from below, i broached the subject with sue, i explained in detail why i wanted it in there, how it was quirky unuaual and a great piece of engineering and would look great with lights below it.
she on the other hand looked at it and said, "ok, its green, that goes with the terracotta colour on the wall" end of discussion.
