Default zintroduction

Hi all,
45yrs of biking and now turned to triking.........screw loose?, we'll see.Just retired but thats only on the outside. Grew up looking like Clint Eastwood (so i was told!), probably look even more like him now!. Anyway, i have had my eye on my mate's trike for nine years and persuaded him to let it go to a good (retirement) home three months ago. Got 'Trike Doctor' to drop it off for me and have been tinkering with it since. It looks the dogs bollocks to me but would be put to shame by what i have seen on the forum. It is an xs1100 hardtail, four into two into four, forward controls with raised pullbacks.......i love it!!!!!!!!!!!. I am presently fitting new shoes and pistons to the rear brakes, fiddling with the sticking clutch and trying to sort out the intermittently engaging starter motor. I still love it!!!!!!!!!!. Bit worried about getting it motd and legal on its docs, but so what!. Anyway thats it for now ZILLAH

Awright Zillah welcome to the madhouse. They are decent bunch dont bite unless asked and most are house trained. A few exceptions but a swift smack on the nose with a rolled up newpaper works wonders.

Only one question that will really cause problems do you wear a sons of anarchy patch set.

OK, you've got me again, who are the foxes? I don't know the first thing about soccer if that's what you're referring to.

By Tigers, do you mean Leicester? You'd better get used to the harder, faster 13 a side version living in Humberside

Default sly old creatures

Foxes= Leicester City Football Club avec Sven (gormless) Ericson.
Tigers=, yes, THE Tigers (union) rfc. 4 losses on the trot!.

I'm a bit oval....i've been to Welford Road to watch the green and reds!

Just waiting for my hazard lights switch and gubbings to arrive so that i can freeze my danglies off in the garage trying to fit it in, quote: "ten minutes", unquote.
Also waiting for my Haynes manual to pop through my letter box so that i can whip the starter motor off and see why it defies it's description.

In a laters regards Z
