Default Dare I do this..... ?

The thought comes to mind of the "Bombay Bobber"

I have a home market built Enfield 500 Bullet and it would please me greatly to make summat special out of it. I spoke to the Enfield Dealer in Preston and the miserable git told me "We don't touch the Indian Market ones, not worth it". This was a week after I bough this Maintenance manual for 20-00 and told him it was for an Individual import bike.

I was In Bombay in 1990 for a week or so and I swear that I saw Rats the size of terrier dogs wandering the streets in daylight. They were the clean part of the place though

I spent a few months in Bombay in 1963. I didn't see any Enfields then. It was quite clean then I didn't see any rats although people were cooking shish kebab and corn on the cob on fires they just lit on the street. I was told by a local that some of the kebabs were made from meat obtained from the hospital after amputations and that the locals wouldn't touch them. whether it was a colourful local story like the ones we have about local pets and chinese or indian takeaways or indeed some other mystery meat, I confined myself to water buffalo fillet steaks.

there are a few examples of enfiled bobbers about already, so shouldn't be a problem - BUT what do you mean by a bobber?

Not 100% sure about the definition of a "Bobber".
In my mind I'm thinking Hardtail with a sprung single seat, maybe springers on the front end. I could be wrong and totally embarass myself

If that's what you want, go for it and worry about the 'style name' afterwards. Someone will come up and say 'cool chop' or smart bobber' and then you can decide.....

Wanting and affording are a stretch of time apart right now But I'll do some thinking and planning over the Summer.
