Default Some pix from the Scottish trip

The start of the trip proper - Dumfries.

The infamous Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum, gateway to Glencoe.

They don't put unnecessary info on their signs up 'ere ...

Halfway up a mountain I found this ... eh?

My other 'alf wants to live here - I told her it might be a bit drafty ...

The beginning of 32 miles of single-track awesomeness ...

Locals ...

Religion perhaps isn't quite so important these days ...

Beautiful and almost deserted beaches everywhere ...

I love interesting engineering ...

This moorland took over an hour to cross - stunning place, but you REALLY wouldn't want to live there.

The sky is very big up 'ere!

The Kilmarnock lot I met at Tongue - 120p a litre at this petrol station!

Well, it'd've been rude not go there, wouldn't it?

Seals are just so watchable ...

I got to John O' Groats, it was shut.

Pic taken in a mate's garden!

Thunderstorms may have knocked out the power, but sometime you really need a cup of tea!

The Royal Arch in Edzell.

There will now be a short delay ...

Mike and his son at Edinburgh Trike Services got me back on the road again - top job, chaps, thanks!

And it's all over ... bar the long trek home.

Chain snapped - it's very old (was actually put on in about 2000), but I was hoping it'd finish the trip. Mike at Edinburgh Trike Services riveted it back together and it did the 600 miles or so home without a worry.

New set of C&S on order on Monday.

Lots of oiling and an oboard tensioner that keeps it perfectly adjusted at all times.

Been to the place in the first pic a few times ,it's the sands in scumfries tis normally flooded this time of year tho
Also been to tongue a few times too ,stayed at the youth hostel down by the causeway also nearly got taken out by a highland coo on the road out of tongue were it goes over the moors /hills
Tongue is a tidy place to chill zero noise and light polution make the sky look crystal clear ,couple of good shagging beaches up there too
