Default unbelivable

took me bike for mot today checked it over about 4 times, no problems so should sail through. gets to garage and dougie (the tester) says bring her in then.
"right then we`ll do the brakes first" all ok.
test suspension, all ok.
"right then pop yer lights on" and thats when the gremlin crept in, nothing, absolutly nothing.
"have you got your ingnition switched on?"
i looked at my nutral light and that wasn`t even working. "must be a fuse" says i. "i`ll take my saddle of and check, thats about all it can be, surly."
dougie said hed have to fail it becouse he had to take it off the computer.
so i wheel the bike out and he lends me the tools i need to check it. no not the fuse, they where ok. turns out its a dodgy wire from the ignition switch, managed to bodge it and dougie checked me lights. "ok that`ll do, i`ll go and do your pass ticket"

its just unbelivable how things have a way of timing themselves to go wrong at the presice moment. anyway happy chappy now.
Make me smile. Slap a bike thief

I've had at least 1 bulb, horn or wheel bearing go south per mot, every time it'll be something I've checked before setting out, but then it's a 30 odd mile ride to the mot place on pot holed roads, bike normally looks like Ive been green laning by the time I get there

Might pay us to say we all live with you, just to keep our bikes on the road.

I recon that once they know you'll fix it yourself they don't bother being too picky... As they're not be getting much cash out of you!
