Default 'Factory' serice manuals

Does anyone know if these things are genuine and any good? I'm a bit skeptical that anything not specific to one bike or range of bikes can really be that informative.

never tried CD manuals before , nothing like a good ole fashion 'oily finger printed book' next to the bike in the shed. i have used other CD type info packs, but bit too technical for i .

if they are proper cd manuals they are fine, just print out the relevent page as you need it. but if they are the ones were someone has used a digicam or a scanner to copy each page then the quality does vary.
ask which type it is, is my advice

Calum,I have bought several(usualy for specific models) and have found them to be excellent. However,as you have spotted, this is for `Yamaha engines`.A mate of mine has the old fashioned hard copy, and rates it as excellent. If this is containing the same info,it should be ok.Make sure you ask the seller loads of questions,if he does not reply/unsure , then do not bother.
