Who`s that ugly git on the trike..............DOH!

Yup it is stunning ere Nik. Ya just sorta take it for granted after a while. When you get out on the trike or harris on a nice sunny day tho it all comes flooding back.

Yer more than welcome to visit again mate, n anyone else who fancies making the trip up. Gizza shout n we`ll organise something.

Know what you mean mate, it's not just the stones, it's the location innit? Stonehenge has been a bit over-commercialised, although the upside of that is the stones get protected. I guess just the fact of where Callanish is makes the stones less vulnerable than Stonehenge.

It is in a quiet and stunning location - there's actually another one on the hill on your left as you come from Stornoway that's pretty impressive, but Callanish itself is amazing - very quiet and very eerie.
