I know what you mean, I'm nicking Mrs R's bike for a while, if I can get it mot'd before the start of my welding course. I took it out a few weeks ago and used the brakes coming down the hill and they are lovely!

While you are waiting you could soak the bits in old brake fluid, it should soak and lubricate the metal and make it easy to clean before you put the new seals in...John

You're right, you didn't touch them, I did. I scrubbed a fair bit of rust off with a scouring pad and some hot soapy watter when I sorted your calipers out. The brake pads did the rest when you bedded them in.

When I fixed your brakes. and did your chain and sprockets....remember? Some brake fluid spilled on the front wheel so I washed it off and gave the discs a scrub whilst i was at it.

You where making me a brew, as I recall.
