Default Forum meetup again soon?

Just wondering, if anyone is planning a meetup anytime soon... we've not done one since Blackpool.

Somehow the stall at rallies hasn't got the same buzz it had in't old days -- at the Rock and Blues, it was tucked away discreetly, though a bit too out of the way - it was nice to meet Bomber and his other half though -

How about at the end of the main rally season round about Oct/Nov and somewhere fairly central to everyone which would probably have to be North of the Midlands.

have one spare double bed. another spare room that could take air bed,
2 x sofas and space in garden for prob 3 or 4 tents. plus loads floor space, or theres a B & B at the end of road.

How many people are we talking?

We've had bbq's here with 35 people and had a blast

Oh blimey! I tried sometime ago, Mitch. Nobody could make their mind up. Nice offer Cherry, but I thikn you might regret it. What we need is someplace like the Victoria Pub in Leics, but with space for camping!

Plough at Arncott's OK for us, but it don't give Dougie and Fran, etc. (+ scottish personages of choice) chance to get there... OK, we missed the last one, but hey, we won't do that again.

Take the mean average distance between the furthermost south and furthermost North persons who wish to attend and stick a pin in the nearest reasonable town.

Blackpool was good on a few fronts (not suggesting it again rather the pro's of a bigger town)

1. Plenty of bars/pubs if the b&B bar aint up to much. (Jax's place was quality btw)

2. Plenty of shopping distractions for the wimmins during the day.

3. Coast was good for those that went for a run.

4. Plenty of restaurants to choose from

Leeds etc is probably in the middle if you include Scotland.

Well I got a massive garden, get about 30 tents in it, and an outside log cabin bar, backing on to a wood so noise don't matter. Quite central to everywhere.

Not having you bastards in it, just felt like braggin off.
