Bikerlifestyle is No1 in google UK
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=biker&meta=

and no9 in google.com
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=biker

if you search for Biker in google uk or .com then i am there
months of work to get there
and probably wont stay there, without a lot more work, but i am proud

five minutes of fame...not to be sneezed at...you've got a bloody good site there and you take great photographs..they'll be there for people to see as long as the internet lasts...and if you do it right it doesn't cost a penny...if you add the names of all the bikes, BSA Kawasaki etc to your keywords and chopper, sport, and some of the other buzzwords you,ll get to No 1 on google.com.. John

Oops I see you already have chopper...should have looked closer..

its a multitude of things
once you submit it, you have to optimise it so google finds it, everything from keywords to text - its a right pain and because results take a while to show its long winded too

I have been researching this, the only thing i am still unsure of is if you can hide tags in a style sheet -without it having a detrimental effect
also of you a div tag that has scrlling content, how much is visible to google?

Depends on how close they look, there are so many people 'cheating' that they only look closely if you make yourself obvious, i.e. new web page straight to the top!

Best and easiest way is to ask people on your site to do a search for the terms you want once a month, that really pushes it up the list. Regular searching keeps it visible.

Get them to slip in a search for these terms 'bikerlifestyle biker lifestyle bike motorcycle rally bike trike' search engines learn and if they see those words in regular searches they link them.

Get 100 people a month just entering those words and bobs my brother!

Oh..... bob is my brother.
