Default Another Noobie Alert

Hi everyone.

Mucka has just given me the heads-up on this site, and I thought I'd better join so that he doesn't get lonely.

Great site by the way, lots of loonies with a strange sense of humour. Should suit me down to the ground.

Keep it shiny side up everybody.

Thanks for all the welcomes folks.

And for those that were asking...

I ride a ... TRIUMPH - surprise, surprise.

I used to have a yam - very nice with curried goat.
Over the years I've had 3 suzies - and numerous other women who shall remain nameless.
I even had a honda once - and once was enough (CX500 - aaagh!).
I've never had a kwak - although my doctor is a bit strange.
Couldn't afford a duke - the aristocracy was always too much for me.
I'm not quite old enough for a BMW - no pipe & slippers yet.
Harleys need too much polishing - or am I thinking about the rocket?.

See y'all.

Sorry CXD,

The CX comment was more about my riding ability than the bike - I got caught out by the high C of G a couple of times. Actually, nothing much has changed, my riding is still crap 25 years later. As I recall, I did eventually learn to live with it (and almost love it) - it must've been OK cos I kept it for four years. One thing I do remember was that the mpg was excellent - even with petrol at 75p a gallon (16p/litre for the youngsters).
