Simon its impossible to keep everybody happyall the time - so you get a few people who dont like certain types of muzic while others doo.

unless you get a room full of identical people who have identical tastes ( hang on labour party manefesto ) then its not gonna happen.

I agree, you cant please all the people all the time.
But what does 70's pop music have in common with bikers?

And before you answer, in 30 years will bike events be playing Robbie williams, Kylie and Justin Timberlake?

Or look at it another way, how many people have you seen at a show wearing a showaddywaddy t-shirts or gary glitter?

i still got my bay city rollers and showaddywaddy t-shirts they dont just fit me anymore

as for what has 70s pop music gotta do with bikers can i ask you the same question in 30 years time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gary glitter eas glam Rock

bay city rollers was pop but now comes under glam rock

showaddywaddy was rocknroll but now comes under glam rock.....

as for robbie williams, justin timberlake - they have been requested at rock nites/rallies - even had cha cha slide requested at 2 recent rallys.

before i started djing a couple of years ago i hated anything post 1985 and refused to listen to it, so i started a classic rock disco - only to find people didnt care and wanted more modern muzic... i have now found myself enjoying the modern muzic scene and indeed a lot of whats requested now is popular muzic !!!!!!!!!

Yep, played Robbie Williams music on numerous occasions at Rallies. I even had the temerity to play Travis' version of Britney's Hit me baby one more time a couple of times too. It went down surprisingly well...........
