Default carb problems, i think????

can any one help? my bike starts stuttering and stumbling when i give it about 1/2-3/4 throttle, the best way to describe it is, its like giving it loads of throttle then suddenly letting go then loads of throttle again then letting go. its seems ok when its in neutral, its just when its in gear.
looking stuff up on the net, i thought it might be something to do with the carb but its seems to only happen when its in gear. does anyone have any ideas, thanks for any help

Is the carb held on by a rubber inlet, it might be split.
Get it running if it is rubber, squirt WD40 all round it, then rev it's nackers off.
If it's got a split rubber inlet, it'll find it's way into the gas chamber and puther white smoke out.
In fact it shouldn't react to it at all, the WD should stay on the outside completely, if it splutters or puthers, it's split.
Is this on a SR125?
