i can do a promotional page with regular updates
and do a feature on the main Bikerlifetyle page as well

and promote it on the various other sites i run

but we gotta be careful that we dont overexpose this - as it can produce negative results

True, I was thinking more of just having all the info in various formats on different sites to attract as a diverse crowd as poss.

Well...

Saturdays, the only things on at my workshop are the coffee and the gravity in normal circumstances.

Sundays I try and spend with my girlfriend because we don't spend a lot of time together otherwise.

Some practical stuff....

There's room enough to build a bike with a few volunteers helping out.

There's room enough to build a trike with a few volunteers helping out.

At a push, there's probably room to do one of each, side by side, given that a bit of clear up is done. That would need a bit of organising and some blagging. Shifting some of the long term stuff elsewhere for a few weeks mainly. Bit of volunteer man power would help with that. The major snag with that is me I'm afraid, I don't deal with stress very wel and I don't have a lot of physical stamina these days, so from my point of view that's starting to sound like more than I could cope with. It really needs to be either/or from my point of view.

What ever it's going to be, it's easier to start with a complete running bike than it is to try an cobble together a random selection of parts. Approaching someone like Carol Nash and see if they'd be prepared to organise a write off with fairly light damage might be one avenue. I really can't emphasise enough how important it is to start with a complete bike, that makes the whole project a lot simpler and means that there are less likely to be bottle necks such as only being able to machine one part at a time and you don't get problems like master cylinders being the wrong size for the calipers you have.

This is the only pic I have of the gs, I hasten to add it dont look like that now, the engine smokes, but it has a trick swinging arm, nearly new shocks, goodridge hoses, although if you fittted a new tyre, one fork seal, a new chain and fixed the exhaust it should pass an MOT, is that enough for a base?
I also have about half another gs in bits.

I think the line that goes "the engine smokes" sort of rules it out really.

Shouldn't updates, promotional page be part of the 100% Biker web site if the magazine's name is being used?
