Thumbs down Totally Scunnered....

...with this weather! Not so much the cold, but the wind and rain.I've got a new swinging arm and fatbob muddie to fit up and part of the frame to clean up and paint, but I can't do hee-haw!'Cos the bike lives in the street that's where I've got to work, and I don't fancy being halfway through something when a "shower" of monsoon proportions hits.I've got until the Embra MAG demo in early June to do this, but I've gotta get the muddie cut, drilled and powder-coated.Bugger!

I think the Polis would have something to say if I put one up in the street! Can't get the bike through to the back green as the stair to the upper floors is too low to get it under.

IF,and it's an enormous if,Fran agreed (which she wouldn't and I can't blame her),it's impossible to get the bike into the flat, narrow corridor & door, far too tight 90 degree turns.

seems like working on cars and bikes in the street, has its days numbered, new laws coming in will meen ya get fined if ya work on a vehicle in the street, and fined if ya put ya bins out on the wrong day, think its coming to that time when emigrating might be on the cards, before we all get banned or fined for doing that as well

But the folk in the 15 other flats in this stair would, and to get the bike thro' the back I'd have to demolish the steps to the upper floors......

We could buy a cheaper, bigger place, but that'd be in one of Embra's wonderful chav-and-junkie infested schemes, where the bike would last..oooohh,5 minutes.

I think the project house in the garden, or buying next doors place just for the bike and parafanalia is a good idea...
