Default Beautiful Britain with David Dimbleby

What a wonderful series. Just been watching it again and it always makes me feel peaceful and content with what i am. Strange to some no doubt but i love it here.
No cynical remarks or the likes thanks. Its just something thats put a nice smile on my chops and just wanted to share it.

Totally agree with you as well rob,I only really started appreciating it when looking for ride-outs on my days out mid-week.Even went to wales and revisited places i promised i'd never go too again.Gave me the camping bug big time some years back.

we live in a very beautiful country, I love the ride up to Matlock from here and have great memories of the black mountains to just name a couple of places.

This seems like a good way to get to see some places.I've heard there something similar to this, without any time restrictions, so you can go and visit some of the checkpoints while out and about to rallies and stuff

Default britain

is that the same as the picture of britain series by dimbleby? or has he made another one? he goes round the uk and finds th places painted by the countries most famous landscape artists? it was followed by another programme from the same location as the picture of britain every week with 3 different photographers each using a different digital camera, from phone cameras, to top notch pro cameras taking modern day digi pics of the same areas and locations, that prog was a digital picture of britain. ever remember the series called britain from the air, basicaly half an hour every week of aerial photography?

Thats the one John, paintings and poetry. Bloody good and ive never been a great lover of poetry to be honest but David Dimbleby is abviously passionate about what he is doing which makes it all the better.
