Default Rally Venues

At some point most of us will have ridden round for miles trying to find a suitable venue for a rally or party. Would it possible to have a sticky thread on here where everyone can post details of places they have found/used to help the rest of us planning to put on an event?

Thanks for that Pat
Well I had better start it off then

The Black Horse at Sommercotes, North Notts. It was the venue for the first Perverts in Leather rally and the Buxom Sisters may ball a few years back. We had our rally there a few times until it changed hands. Well after a year or so not hosting rallies the present landlords are letting rallies go ahead again. We had our Xmas party there and they seem a great couple. Free function room and late bar camping etc etc

So, anywhere in the Midlands that's okay for a smallish (sort of 250) rally?

Default The Victoria Hotel

Run by bikers, this very large public house has its own function room with its own separate bar and facilities.
Bikers are welcome to stay over, but there is no camping.
Well worth a drop by and a chat with Steve over a real ale.

Default 3 Horseshoes, nr Huntingdon

3 Horseshoes, Gt Stukely, nr Huntingdon. Is right near the A14 but still in a village so no free-range chav population, nor any local noise vigilantes either.

Was the venue for Rat & Survival 2005 - has a good sized camping field plus a small back room for parties.

Thumbs up an ok venue

for those in and around hertfordshire, i can recormend the chiltern sports and social club in maple cross ( the water treatment plant ) it has a large feild, indoor bar and if event is big enough he will open a second bar for you.

it has a large hall, showers, and most important of all cheap beer!!!!!!!

and he will also gain late license too so plenty more drinking time
my club will be holding our first rally there this august it will be the 3rd rally to be held this year on this site. he is pretty fair and is always open to arranging things to suit your needs

The Ostrich pub on long lane, Longford, near Derby. Big field at the side and they can lock the pub up but leave access to the toilets

If you are in or around the Weston Super Mare area try the "Walnut Tree" very biker friendly pub, home to the Van Dieman MCC and already held a rally and a couple of party's this year. limited camping available.Large car park, enough room for around 400 bikes and or trade stalls.
Call Wendy on 01934812460 Tell her "Billy" sent you.

Default Rallies at The Three Horseshoes Lincolnshire

Hi everyone,
Try the Three Horseshoes, Goulceby near Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. Small venue but has a campsite with a pub. We are looking at increasing the size of the campsite so that we can do big rallies too.

Interesting idea for a off season get-together is our indoor campsite. Heated in the winter and adjoins the pub, tents provided so no hassle. Takes 16 in total.
