Default Biker Friendly Campsites

Know any campsites that welcome bikers? Post your recommendations here please.

Here's a great place I enjoy staying at in Jocklandshire.

http://www.cruachanfarm.co.uk/

Great facilities and a restaurant serving great food at a reasonable price.

We took this place over one weekend - They loved us, just a kick in the arse from the Green Welly, as featured in this months 100%.

We are planning a wild camping trip for a week, later in the year, I will let you know how we get on.

This place is popular with bikers, a group of us used it last year and the Triumph America forum use it for their annual rally

http://www.highlaning.com/index.htm

The bit we camped on had that plastic reinforcing under the grass so your bike didnt sink, and the village has a pub with its own micro brewery

We've just got back from this place in Northern France, only about an hour south of calais:

www.lesballastieres.com

Nice B&B if you are with yer bird, or a cheap bunkhouse if you are with the lads.

The owners sue & Paul are bikers, HDRCGB members and could not be more helpful or hospitable.
A member of our group had his wheel bearing collapse a few miles from the digs and Paul got the bike straight into his workshop, and with a trip to the local dealer for a bearing, he was back on the road the next morning.

Only had a few beers in the town on the Friday night but the locals seem nice and friendly.
There is a BBQ and games room with pool table, darts etc if you want to stay in.

Highly recommended!

I've been to a number on this site and can recommend them - apart from Camping Moto Touche which has turned into a pile of crap.

Default Biker Friendly Campsite

If you are looking for somewhere in North Yorkshire I would recommend

Sentry Circle: Lenthor Farm, Stokesley Road, Brompton, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL6 2UD

http://www.facebook.com/Sentrycircle?fref=ts

Open all year around, 5 per night per adult, No need to book

1 mile form town and Has a kitchen available for Campers Use.

Lovely Friendly Owners

A beautiful place with it's own stone circle in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside.

Default Three Horseshoes Campsite is near Cadwell Park

Try the Three Horseshoes near Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. Small campsite but great for bikers because there is a biker friendly pub with it.

They are open to use the place for biker events, catering, bike nights and even have an indoor campsite for a group - you don't even need to bring a tent. Not expensive and with a few beers and food, ideal for a group of friends.

Hi Ian, Thanks for the tip, but please fill out the user cp up on the left hand side and tell us a bit about yourself, like where you're from, what you do, etc. Or are you trying to sneak in under the net and spam us as the owner of the aforesaid watering hole?
