Default Latest Issue (96) ???

Just flicked through the latest issue, did the bloke who wrote the Bulldog bash write up go?
Being as its one of the biggest shows in Europe with probably one of the best custom show, how come no pics of show bikes?
As its probably the biggest show in the UK shouldnt it get a decent write up? The rock & Blues write up at least gave people a good overall view of what goes on, but whoever did this just seemed intrested in the drag strip. Sorry Nik but the same happened last year if I remember right, we get more info on a vmax club rally & a musical ( however good they might be) just dont make a lot of sense to me at all

The custom show isn't the be-all and end-all of the Bulldog, Si, and it's run by BSH so we're hardly likely to make a big thing of it, are we?

No, mate, it isn't - no one in any industry is going to make a big thing about something that's sponsored by a rival, are they? It just doesn't happen ...

When you hold a responsible position such as yours Nik, you can never afford to take the professional hat off. This does not display a very professional approach or respect to your readers, who do pay your wages after all. Did you learn any people skills during your training?

If we spoke to our customers like that, I'm sure we would be facing bankruptcy very quickly. Simon was asking a very reasonable question which did not deserve such a blatantly rude reply.

If you, for instance, walked into a shop and asked a question of the assistant and she/he replied with this level of rudeness, I wonder what your reaction would be.

You tell us Billy Liar, hardly beyond your elastic journalistic license is it?

Ive bitten my tongue so hard trying to resist this thread.... sadly, Im only a weak woman.... Sorry Stu....

I put all this down to the fact that men mature so much more slowly than women.... eh Blue?

During my time at 100% Blue and I had many a 'verbal sparring' sometimes I came out on top, more often she did, but through it all we actually developed a great respect and admiration for each other. Hard work and professionalism always win through ... We both knew how hard the other worked and respected that.( Often cursing each other as well)
We enjoyed many a brew togther at rallies and now I value her friendship highly.

But, although there should always be healthy competitiveness, to not report on a major customshow in a custom bike mag that hopes to compete seriously in the same marketplace is purile and childish beyond belief. its always possible for a reasonably competent photographer to take pics without logos. If you choose to try....

This post will make me unpopular at Jazz.... (but hey whats new eh stuart... since when did I let that stop me... )
This forum is for opinions, and everyone should be allowed to voice them.... even me...
