Default Cars at bike rallys

I went to the Barflys rally on the week end.. Had a great time drinking good real ale at good prices..Met some genuine bikers & some alright locals.
Unfortunatly a so-called biker in a landrover drove over a 125.. attempted to drive off & when stopped quoted " its only a 125 plastic crap ".
I think the young 125 rider has more right to call himself a biker than the landrover owner..

cars shouldnt be allowed on rallies ....unless ;i stress severly disabled or have a very good REASON for not attending on there bikes.....kids an break downs are not a reason.....bike rallies are for bikers and the only thing that proves it ,is your bike!!!!!!!!. ..........................ps i agree wi UT on that one.

Take it easy...some of you know I have had to do some difficult things recently, and travel to England in a hurry with my disabled wife who cant and wont get on the back of my bike, (and before you ask..no she cant drive) also I had to carry more luggage than could fit on a bike...If I had wanted to attend a rally while I was there I would like to feel welcome even if I was in a suit and driving my Mondeo...John

I also have a lady who cannot ride due to past injuries and two grandaughters who love to rally. These are the future of biking and to stop them coming is to cut our own throats. My son is on 'L' plates so can't carry one. I used my car to take the girls to rally, then went home to get the bike. Did the same in reverse, so car wasn't left on site. Why severely disabled? why not badly or just plain disabled. I couldn't ride for four years after my accident but wasn't disabled, just in constant and severe pain from nerve damage. I now ride again but stayed on the 'scene' by using the car to rally. Don't judge peeps till you have walked (or limped) a mile in their shoes. The guy in the 4X4 was just a tosser.........
