Default April 28th Workers Memorial Day

1600 people die each year in UK while doing their job and 20000 die from work related diseases.
Bearing in mind that these goverment related figures do not include the following

Armed forces (unless combat related)
Women
Social workers
Emergency workers
Offshore Workers
Drivers
amongst others...

The country should remember them on this day, as they do in other countries and by doing so reduce this slaughter so sign the petition at

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/workersmemorial/

Further to this you should take note that in spite of HSE regulations NONE of the Corporate Fat Cats are responsible for any of these workers deaths. So if you are killed at work due to poorly maintained equipment, lack of PPE, lack of training etc then the way the law is at present the buck stops with you!
