How much roughly for a simple 2 pack paint job?

Nothing flash, just something like candyapple with a flake finish, some tribal graphics on the sides of the tank and the fenders, and 'Harley Davidson' in script inside the tribal bit?

Scoobydoo 02-02-2014 07:46 PM

How about candy apple with a skull flying forward with smoke coming out the back and in the smoke ghosted in Harley Davidson and how much you prepared to pay ;)

Just had a quote for £600 for the tank and FENDERS. Too rich for me I'm afraid.
Might get one of these kits http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1711013509...84.m1438.l2649 and try it out on the front fender.

I'm all about having a go ,it's all about the prep also after paint finish go onto there web site they give you great tips ,but it's not a two pack it's most prob water based and if you like it get it lacquered other wise it wears .if they supply the lacquer it's also not a two pack the two don't work together and it will shell .it's a mine field I'm still learning and fucking up ,but you don't learn till you give it a go :D the price you where given is a average price if that was with the airbrush work as we'll snap there hand of :thumbsu:

American Chopper is to blame for such terms being used

harry 23-02-2014 11:44 AM

The americanism that most annoys me is "kickstand"

Now the first dozen or so of my bikes had a side stand on the left and a kick start on the right, how would you, and, why would you combine the two?

Strider 23-02-2014 01:21 PM
