newbie saying hi!

Hi,

Just thought I'd introduce myself - I'm Dave and am addicted to motorbikes! Well change the name and that'll probably sum everyone up on this board.

My garage currently houses the following:
1982 Yamaha RD350LC (no powervalves here!)
1996 Honda CB1000
and the scary one...
1991 Yamaha FJ1200 combo, mated to a squire ST2 sidecar - I'm trying (very badly) learning to ride this thing - once I can get it to go in a reasonably straight line I'll be happy for a while!

Welcome to the forum...

If you are old enough to remember steering dampers you might sort out that combi.

Fill in the user CP up there on the left so that we know where you are.

John.

Thanks John,

I have ordered a VW damper from GSF, should arrive in the next couple of days, then I can see how to mount it.
I think most of the problems with the combo is me trying to correct minor deviations as I would a solo, then it just seems to go where it wants!

All of our mines have shut now but we still get the odd deviant..

It sounds like a damper might be the answer..

John.
