norvin frames now available

now available a wideline frame which allows the vincent engine to sit lower in the frame and eliminates the front exhaust to down tube problem...

only for cut engines though.
gear box mounts will have to be made depending what type of box you fitting.

so if you got a vincent engine lying arond doing nowt, or proping open your shed door. dust it off and stick it in one of these.:D

Very nice. Go on I'll risk looking a prat, but seeing as I know almost zilch about Vincents - what is a cut engine?

dracken1 09-03-2009 07:47 PM

the gearbox has been cut off. a vincent gearbox was seperate to the engine but shared the same casting. so it still used a primary drive chain just like a pre unit.to be honest vincent gearboxes were not the best. most use a bsa or amc box. off a pre unit bike:D

Thank you, I am now a wiser man.

Are you selling piss pot helmets with wings to those who complete their Norvin projects?

dracken1 09-03-2009 08:28 PM

isn't it funny. the most famous norvin was just a line drawing.

yes i guess we could make the helmets... not sure about the huge chin extensions though..:D

There's a whole magazine over here dedicated to cafe racers:

I think we're all in search of the mythical Mitzi, a girl biker who rides in fishnets!!
