Brotherhoods ??????

OK Here goes...can anyone enlighten me to the difference between mcc & Brotherhood, I remember the sidepatch thing in the 80`s & early 90`s, most seemed to want the respect & status a backpatch gives without having to actualy earn said rewards, is history repeating its self ?

likewise... and are usually - in my experience - seen to be taken more seriously by MCs

There are also Sisterhoods

Mitch (a member of a brotherhood).

*Desperately hoping that this won't be another dull clubs thread

when youve read endless threads about mc's side patch an any other patch or clubs as what we seem to get on here you will understand the lack of interest,as for blue im sure she'll give you her own reply

so in effect, brother/sisterhoods are different to an mcc in what way? i`m a bit cofused by this taken seriously thing, i know they take themselves seriously but do they think they are more like 1%ers ? what`s your view, as a brotherhood member, of an mcc? do you look down ya nose a bit(be honest)! at mcc clubs? is it a problem with mixed sex clubs? cos if thats the main reason then you already have an alternative, join an mc, they are all male, (uk anyway, i think) ;)

Fair point Chazz, i`m new to the forum & seeing the many threads on the subject i just figured i`d get a few different angles as i`m genuinely interested, as this is such a varied website i just think it a tad petty to spend time putting down what is still a popular topic to some when you could be possitively contributing to something which YOU find stimulating. :D

Shep 17-06-2008 09:13 PM

If you're so interested in all the permutations of clubs for those of us with a motorcycle habit/addiction, why don't you get out and meet them, then form your own opinion.

Just like most of us have over the years.;)

already have an opinion just interested in other peoples perceptions of things. and as for getting out there and meeting people...bin doin it for 25yrs and i`m still learning :D

Mitch 17-06-2008 09:42 PM

OK nutbag, you may have been doin' it for 25 years (haven't we all?) but your post count here is not much, and your profile is blank.

Those that have been trying to suss you out - look at your profile to see who's visited - probably have more to say on the matter... me, DILLIGAF?

Well i personally think these are good points/questions, and would also be interested to hear peoples honest answers.
To me, RC, Brotherhoods, MRC, HRC, it's all just bollocks, they're all MCCs to me. Not that that's a bad thing, i just wish they'd stop proclaiming to be 'different', ie better, than your run of the mill MCC.

baldybongo 17-06-2008 09:54 PM

Yup, that sounds about right to me. But there again I need to get out more:)
Right... where`s them hairs?
