Rural Area Motorbike Project (RAMP) based at Tadcaster Grammar School, Tadcaster
On Monday 29 October at approximately 11 pm the RAMP (was broken into and 5 TTR motorcycles were stolen (2 small wheel, 2 large wheel and 1 GY) and well as some tools, race suits and generator. Clearly this is very sad for the project which has had over 800 young people access it. The Police have commenced enquiries but we are asking if anyone has any information to please contact Steve Green, RAMP co-ordinator 01937 837680 or s.green@tadcaster.n-yorks.sch.uk

Rare Harley-Davidson stolen from lay-by

Attachment 11508

15 July 2008 16:08

Police are appealing for witnesses after a rare customised Harley-Davidson motorcycle has been stolen from a lay-by near Swaffham on Sunday evening.

The owner was riding the cycle, registration B163 VNK along the A1065 at Castle Acre Hill, when it ran out of petrol shortly after 7pm.

He left the vehicle in a lay-by, secured to itself with a chain and managed to get a lift into Swaffham to buy some petrol. When he returned to the lay-by, he discovered the bike had been stolen.

Police say the Harley Davidson has distinctive markings, high metal blue in colour with silver flames on the body and rear fender. It has a duel carbs engine and polished chrome body work. The bike is easily identifiable and fairly rare.

Anyone with information should contact DC Wright at Dereham CID on 0845 456 4567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Could you please look out for a Ducati Monster, stolen from Finchley area. It's a Monster Dark (black) with Ducati in large letters on the tank, silver frame reg number R345 KGP. It was stolen this morning. The bastids dragged it out of the guys garden and into van. It had disc lock on the front and chain round the back wheel but they managed to lift it. I guess it's a hazard of having a lightish bike!

Just passing this on:

One of our company bikes has been stolen from the Peterborough area. It is a GSXR750 K7 in silver / grey reg number LG57 YUX.

The keys were in it (fucking idiot) outside a shop so we are guessing someone just happened upon it and will probably dump it, there was approx 80 miles of fuel in it.

The police have been called but they are not being very positive about it (suprise suprise) so if you should see it, hear about it or be approached to buy it please let me know.

deefer666 27-08-2009 03:47 PM

LOL he didnt tell me that he left the keys in it! :D

a small minibike, with no engine - matt black.

The BSA looked like this one, just without the white numberboards and a single exhaust

£5000 for info leading to a conviction or return of the bikes.

Quote:

Hey All
Please take the time to help us fight these loosers who just keep on getting away with taking from those of us who work hard through blood sweat and tears to get what we want. Please take a second to read this and forward it to your friends and spread the word. There is a reward of £5000 for info leading to a conviction or return of the bikes.

We are a small company. Just set up this year and have worked really really hard to drive it forward giving people from all walks of life to try the buzz of off road riding. (Mick Extance Off Road Experience)

On Friday we had the PR launch of our Motocross school and the launch of the amazing new Honda CRF 250R at the Fat Cat Motocross Parc nr Doncaster.

It was a brilliant day and we were all very proud to be part of it. The media loved the school and the bikes. Our first school with the new bikes was due to be on Tuesday and we were good to go after an excellent first outing.

Sadly, that night, we were the victims of an organised crime ring. The bikes were followed back to their storage place (an hour away) and 8 of them were taken later that night. They went to great lenghts to get to these bikes and we are pleased to say no one was hurt. However, things could have been very different(and very nearly were!). Due to a technicality we will not be receiving an insurance pay out and so we have just had £40,000 taken away from us.

We have not given up on these bikes just yet and we are asking all of you for your help to stamp on these guys who have tried to steal the heart out of our business. They nearly suceeded but we are not finished with yet. We hope that there are enough people out there, especially bikers, who have had enough of these scum bags getting away with it and will take a second to forward this on to others. After all, we are all linked in some way or other and we might just reach that one person who happened to see something, hear something, whatever!!

These bikes are rare as they have just been launched in this country (by us that day!!). They are fuel injected CRF 250R's. The old version was not fuel injected.

We are offering a reward of £5000 to anyone with information leading to a conviction or the return of the bikes. If you require any further information or have any, then please contact me on my mobile 07809 464050.

In the meantime we are working hard to ensure business as usual.

For those of you booked on to a Motocross school in the next 2 weeks. We still have a 250R and a 450R for you to try. However, the rest of the bikes will be made up from the 250 and 450X range.

The Enduro schools in Wales are running as normal. We are using borrowed vans to get our bikes there as our truck was badly damaged in the robbery. That wont stop us though.

Please forward this message and let all your friends know. If you are on twitter etc please share this information on there as well. Who knows what might happen!!

Thank you for your support from the bottom of our hearts

Steph & Mick

Stolen from Mallory

Hi, I'm asking for your help in keeping a look out for the following -
A friend of mine, Mark Littler, his Kawasaki ZX10R (an ex Hawk superbike) and a GSXR1000K5 have been stolen from Mallory Park on the 20th March 2010, generators, laptops, timing gear and a load of stuff inc helmets from the track shop, please anyone involved in bikes be on the look out….
The parts on the Kawasaki are bespoke and recognisable so the bike does stand out, it would be a head turner if seen in the street.
If, by any chance, you hear or see anything please I would be very grateful if you would let me know.
I'll post a couple of pics later.
Maz
