could there be any faster way to lose interest in riding ??

i used to love building engines until i got a job in a garage, the owners sussed i knew what i was doing so i ended up a full time rebuilder, after a couple of years of that i mostly lost interest (was building old FX4 diesels in me sleep)

I ran my own courier business for 5 years, Slob! Depends on what type of courier work you want to do? long Distance or circuit?

All my work was long distance because I lived in Corby (yeah, someone had to!) and all the business was either down to London or up to the North west, Manchester etc!

PM me and I'll see if I can help, mate!

Bloody hell, what a time to start...six months of rotton weather..you must be hard as nails! John

Or daft as a brush..

I can hear my wife calling me!

i did it for a while, started this time of year, too. all long distance, loved it. it wasn't like a job, it was like 'today i think i'll ride to manchester and bristol' or 'today i'll go to glasgow', and get paid more than i had time to spend! hard on bikes tho, used to get through 3ish a year. only stopped because my bike got nicked.
it didn't put me off riding. :)

You know me mate, I know you, I know couriers, and you wont cut it mate.

No offense but it aint for you.

Did it for two years, long distance - based in sunny Huddersfield, all points north, south east and west.

Put me off biking for about four years!!

Then I lost my job so I ended up doing it again for about three months... enjoyed biking too much to keep it going (didn't want to get that way again).
Especially after working out of Burgess Hill going to London every day.

I once got mistaken for the dispatch rider in the travel agents I used a lot with work! I suppose it's a sign your jacket needs washing.....

Slob, me ole fruit! I've written out a big "does and don'ts" for you but I need to send via an email as a word doc! PM your email or bell me, I replied to your PM mate. word doc came out at about 5973 give or take a few words! The PM messaging thing said it was about 973 words too long! I didn't know where to start editing so it's best left as is!

I'll see if i can upload it on here anyway. I'll put it on as a New thread! With a bit of luck!
