love it...:)
We have a T140 to build over the winter and I was wondering if those are USA export Bonnie bars ?....I like them and I am trying to persuade my other half to use them on ours.

devon-tony 29-11-2009 10:49 PM

love it, red and bblack bikes are the best LOL

really smart, would give anything to be able to afford a brit lump for a build

do what i did and buy a bit at a time. i started off with a crank and bought bits as and when i could afford. not the cheapest way but i couldnt afford to buy a motor complete either.

Beano 30-11-2009 12:28 PM

If you could Mick. That would be great. :D

mick2 30-11-2009 01:00 PM

hi beano, the bars are roughly 28" wide and have a 6" rise.
they were bsa rocket 3 bars i think, these look the same

That is really smart a lot of the TOMCC guys would be well impressed with the work you have done for something looking that good ....the others would string you up for messing with a fine old Triumph personally I think you have done a great job looks superb :thumbu:

mick2 30-11-2009 02:25 PM

thanks kidhaf, no actual bonnies were harmed in the build. it was all done out of bits and is a total mongrel, even the motor lol.

Beano 30-11-2009 06:06 PM

Thanks Mick....I shall go and bend some wire around to have a rough idea. :)

eigerton 30-11-2009 08:16 PM
