Where does it come from??

It's 4.00 in the afternoon, the sun is melting the tarmac, there is no wind and you're sat inside the house trying to keep cool but even the air in the house is hot. Suddenly you come up with the idea that a 16" osilating fan could do the trick of cooling you down. So it's off to the local shops and 25 later the fan is whizzing round at top speed throwing out a jetstream of really cool air. Where does it get this cool air from

at the centre of the fan bades, in the spinner, is a tiny fridge. when you turn the fan on, centrifugal force throws the cold air from inside the fridge out towards the tips of the fan blades, where tiny, microscopic holes let the cold air exit into the vortex caused by the spinning blades, thus cooling the surrounding air currents.

easy when you know how!! :D

That's just daft, everyone knows that the pixies live in the middle of the fan and make the cold air with pixie magic
