some stills of one of our Norleys
These pics show a Norley built by Santiago chopper specialities in Florida, for the 2nd series of the discovery turbo caferacer programe.
We made and supplied santiago choppers with a frame, swingarm, headsteady, fuel tank and rubbers, tank strap, oil tank, seat base.
Everything else is the work of alan and his crew.
this frame is only clear coated.

caferacer will be shown later this year.

oh and the odd looking knee pads were because of a fuck up with the painter.

Very nice, very nice indeed...
Now is it just me or does that USD set up at the front end make the bike look "heavy", and not at all agile n fast, like a good cafe racer should be...
Just my opinion fae looking at the pics :eek:

Still cool

as this is obviously a custom machine...
Dear Dracken,
as this is so obviously a custom machine...

you will need a test pilot of some keen riding skills and ambition,
it will of course need somebody with an attested record in testing and discovering the issues inherent in such luvverly machinery,
look no further my friend: you have found him, its me....

I will accept no financial reward for this endeavour, except of course the occasional guy martin (tm) bucket of tea and digestive (mcvities-I can accept no other) and in turn you will have my framed accolades.

yes its early & i haven't slep too well, but just saying: beauty

seemed wholly inadequate.

kidhaf 23-03-2011 08:15 AM

That is a thing of beauty ....falls into the xxx bike porn category... only one question why the yanks doing it ....would the feckers not let you do the build yourself am sure you could have done as a good a job seeing as you would be promoting your own work.

dracken1 23-03-2011 09:06 AM

we do intend to build 2 of our own, it's a time thing at the moment. WE know it's bloody stupid that we sell these kits but don't actually have a completed bike.
As mine and pauls tastes differ, his will be sprint tanked as the one in the pics, with upside downies mag wheels etc.

mine will have a mini manx tank and old style tele forks with wire wheels but disc brakes, plus an ali half fairing

Suzukiron 23-03-2011 09:39 AM

I seriously like the sound of your plan Draken...get on with it..LOL:thumbu::D
