*Just here to see at a glance. Pat can this be locked and a sticky please?*

the Vic biker bar in Leicestershire

http://www.vicbikerspub.co.uk

basically a biker pub with camping and bands

only cost is whatever they're charging to see the band...£2.50 on the night we're planning

only rules, no patch clubs, no cans or bottles (apart from water, they do want to sell their own beer after all) no fires no pets

it won't be exclusive to us of course, but that means we don't have to worry if only 3 people turn up!

we will all be able to camp together and have a laugh!

"Situated between J22 of M1 and J13 of M42 on the A511,follow signs from the ring road for Hermitage Park Hotel and the Victoria is about 100 yards away, a large white pub with two very large car/bike parks standing in its own grounds with ample grassy areas, and trees and shrubs surround two of the sides."
"Food is always available in some shape or form, the BBQ normally starts about 9pm (seasonal and subject to weather conditions) and runs through until about 1am for Burgers, Hot Dogs etc., the bar shuts at midnight but tea and coffee is on tap until you've had enough, in the day we do Curry's, chip butties, bacon butties, breakfasts, belly busters etc."

Not wanting to upset the apple cart, but are you sure about this?

Their web site states that camping costs £2.50 per person per night, and their band charges are usually either free or £4 upwards. Unfortunately, their gig list doesn't go as far as September yet.

Just to confirm,
Cost for camping is £2.50 per night, with all the free tea & coffee you can drink the next morning (according to their site) and cost to get in on the night varies according to the band/night but its not more than a £5 and sometimes its free. Still bloody good value, everything is on site, loos food beer etc
:D

Who knows? I've got some time off and it's the week before Mrs R goes back to Uni - so we may be travelling around, seeing friends in nottingham or whatever.

Also, my bike should be finished! Oh and Mrs R's should have had its engine sorted by then!

Seeing as it looks as if the full representative force of the Ewokandtuck Emporium and Institute will be present you will need to stick at least a 1 on front of the 3 and a couple of more 0's on the back!
