Struck by Lightening

This morning over local radio it seems that a 14 year boy was struck and killed by lightening yesterday, then this morning when i got to work my gaffer wanted me to work 60ft up a scaffold to finish the roof off, im psychotic not f**king suicidle, he dont pay me enough to get instant xrays :eek:

had to go to Towcester to work yesterday and by the time I got to the A34 at chievley the rain was so bad I had to pull off the road, first time in 16 years of driving I've had to pull over because road conditions were too bad to continue!

it was like trying to drive in a car wash....nightmare!

why do cars have 2 speed wipers, if its raining hard enough to need speed 2 then you shouldnt be driving in it anyway.......weird

mine has 2 speeds and intermittent, and to be honest I think it would have been better with none at all.

here is a most excellent tip............if you know its gonna raion pretty heavy, get a spud and cut it in half then wipe the cut side all over your windscreen, acts just like rain ex and you dont need wipers, works much better on motorways as the speed helps to clear the screen too
