i hate to bring up the subject of motorcyles ( dirty horrid things, danger to all etc etc) on this forum


but i sat on mine today, made brmm brrrm noises

then thought rats to this, hit the starter and took it round the block

1st time for 7 weeks



oh how good it felt, so much so i cleaned the white wall tyres :eek:


looks like i will be on the bike for the pissed indian :D :D :D

Cool!Know how you feel.When my back went out big style all those years ago I didn't know if I was ever gonna walk properly again,never mind ride a bike.Couldn't ride for about 3 and a half months.It felt really good (if somewhat painful) to get back on! :D

When I had my heart attack I wasn't allowed to ride for a month! I was climbing the walls to get back on me bike long before the month was up :( !

Sat on my trike today - got the golf club to fix up the gearchange but I'm gonna have to find something to keep my foot on the touring peg. I need something like they have on the rowing machines in the gym........ 9 months since I rode it!

know how feel broke my wrist coming off my bike a couple of weeks ago and I climbing the walls with the frustration and even tried pulling the clutch lever on my mates bike but no strength in my fingers. I really am desperate to get back on a bike :mad:

My misses says I dont get another bike until the trike is finished.
Been at it a year so far and another year estimated. I can see her point with it being a dear do but Christ I am climbing the wall!!!! :(
