looks like a copy of the honda superdream 125 motor in a custom frame. if you only need it for a year, then dont buy a new one, if they are only 12oo notes new, then they will be cheaper used. though be aware, thet though 1200 notes is the price you pay for the bike, it will need to be registered for you to put it on the road, and the a doesnt mention that, so budget for possibly another 300 quid for registering it and taxing it too.

anything is worth what you is willing to pay for it,,, however,,,, when these were first imported they were going for £850,,,, and i could of bought loads for under £600,,,, if something went wrong with it,,, spares would be rare/expensive,,,,, so its up to you really,,, you pays yer money,,, yer takes yae chance,,, like any other bike,,,,,, BBB

I've heard a lot of bad reports of the build quality with theses chinese imports, personally I wouldn't touch them. Also, if you're only going to keep it for a year or so don't buy new 'cos you'll lose loads by depreciation when you sell it.

Lookin at the bike matey i dont think it would be a case of Rolling Thunder, it would be more a case of rolling flatulence. Go and spend a few hundred quid on an old jap 125 until you can get a bigger bike, you'll like it a lot more and you'll be able to play and experiment with it a bit more to. :D

Having seen one of these bikes in the showroom, (it's only down the road from me) I have to say the only thing it has going for it is it's looks, it is a nice looking bike. The good points end there unfortunately, the build quality is nowhere near good enough. It is too heavy for its size and has a gutless lump for an engine. Maybe in a few years the Chinese will sort this out, but I doubt it. One for avoiding, in my humble opinion, as there are far better quality bikes out there for a lot better price second hand than this one brand new.

My advice is get something for a few hundred quid that runs well and has some MOT and Tax on it. There's plenty of CG 125's around for less than a grand and they are pretty much bullet proof.

I would agree with all the others if it is a first time bike get something used and alot cheaper and then if you drop it it won't worry you so much :)

Speaking from experience nearly everyone drops their first bike so I always advise against spending alot.If you have any more experienced mates see if they can help you pick up something a couple of years old.Theres a helluva lot of people out there buy small bikes then ride them for a few months till the novelty wears off, they can be a good bet provided they aint had the nuts thrashed of 'em.

Like the others have said if you only want it for a year , dont buy a new one.

Dont pay £99 for a delivery

Go to a couple of bike shops before you buy, sit on a few

I had a hyosung cruise 2 when i was learning and it took a lot of abuse.

If you can get some one who knows a bit to go with you.

Make sure you have a secure place for it, 125's are easy prey for the teenage thiefs
