why do people take take take all the time

I,m pissed off with some people on another board where we share "software" and stuff...for about six years or so I,ve been serving up "hard to find" software free to everyone on that and other boards while asking for nothing in return.
When I finally ask for four poxy rar files to finish off a movie, everyone goes deaf and blind and ignores the bloody post (bastids) So I've wasted about eight hours of downloading and a huge lump of bandwidth for fux all.....bah humbug....

maybe I just need to let off some steam, and have a bit of a rant rather than pulling what little hair i've got left out of my head.....

I like receiving but I love giving. If I have got something that would help others I give the information/time/item freely. "I dont say well I've done this for you, you owe me now"
....not like my brother who is always on the take and cos he helped us out several years ago still thinks we owe him big time. To any of his requests now the answer is no. I hate having to do that but I got to get him out of this bad habit (and some others) before he ends up a lonely old git. (hes 31)

Watched that the other night, I thought it was pretty good, though have to admit to not having read the book to compare it too!!

from my experience, they have to go with whatever your'e wearing or it all falls flat.(the shoes & handbags)

a lot of people are wasters though, I agree.

(one of) my pet hates is folk who only ask how you are so they can tell you how THEY are.
... and folk who ask to borrow anything, cos they're in a jam, then never return/repay it, just say "oh yeah, I forgot, I'll get it next time.

they should be kicked to death (and ive never played any violent computor games, so thats that myth out the window then.)
some young guy did that to me for about a month, so I told him to forget about the item but if i ever saw him on fire, i wouldnt even piss on him.
he avoids me now.
