powder coating (removal)

Due to time/age & wear/tear
the mudguards on the trike need re-powder coating.
in the past to remove the old coating I`ve generally gone the Gas axe & angle grinder route.
but has anyone got any better ideas to get the old stuff off so i can have em re-coated?

Take 'em down the powdercoaters,

and they will blast all the old stuff off before putting new on.
