I finally hoofed the engine out of my bike at 1.15 this morning (much to the disgrace of my taxi driving neighbour - sorry Bri, didn't know you were out on an early 'un).

Now here's the thing....the thing is this....this is the thing. My bike fitted neatly into my garage, in a corner and wasn't in the way..


WHY HAVE I GOT SO MANY BOXES OF BIKE BITS NOW - WHERE THE HELL DID THEY ALL COME FROM?

I'm no mechanic and this is the first time I have every stripped a bike......


WHY IS THE WIRING LOOM SO BIG - WHAT ARE ALL THOSE WIRES FOR - WHERE DID IT FIT?


Perhaps these are the things I should have considered before I took a perfectly good bike......and buggered it up

It looks a lot now but when you get it back together you will be able to throw at least 2 boxes of wires and stuff away or is it just me that gets loads of left overs :confused: :confused:

yep, when you put it back together you will look at the remaining boxes and scratch yer head a lot and wonder where all those bits were from????
i got my wiring loom down to 8 wires
but every bike needs a complete re build now and again, and it helps you to get to know the bike better, then you will start changing things on it, save time and attack it with a angle grinder now
