so there i am today buying a bunch of flowers for girlfriend ;which is a regualar occurance, not just a apology etc. But this time especially as off on rally tommorrow.
the Florist then states.."its interesting most bunches of flowers are brought by bikers"
does this mean we are not the big butch bikers we hope to be?

i think we are just more thoughtful, doro had a surprise the other day, she got home from work to find i had bought her a flying lesson lol :D

the last one was may this year when for our 20th wedding anniversay - sopent 18 month arranging to retake our vows - she thought she was going to a biker wedding !!! - i told her at the church and she was gobsmacked......

I only ever bought Mrs FF flowers once when I gave them to her the first thing she said was "what have you done?".So the next bunch she gets is the ones to go on her coffin :)

Used to buy the missus flowers at least once a month for several years. we had an argument one time and me being me bought a bunch to say sorry. She still had the 'ump and promptly chucked them in the bin!!:mad:

So since then (about 10 years or so) I have never, ever bought her any flowers. chocolates, trinkets, little surprises, yes, but never flowers ever again!

i kept saying to my boyfriend when ever he said that he was going to get me some flowers to save his money cos they only die, so the git turned up with a bunch one day, i was all embarressed, didnt know what to say - i just wanted to cry, i loved them, i went all girlie on him (which aint my style) - he said he wont be worried though till i sell my angle grinder, maybe hes after my power tools as he keeps buying me flowers now

Now then, now then, what's not to like about pussy cats? They are cute and adorable, cuddly and fluffy AND they rid your house of vermin too. Not only that but they are ideal pets as you can happily leave them alone in the house for a long weekend while you go away unlike dogs, gerbils and the like!!!

....except for this morning when we came downstairs to find a mouse's head with full spine attached lying next to a twig with three leaves on it. The cat had obviously fancied mouse with a side salad.....eurrrgghhhhh :)
