stopped smoking!!!

well have finally done the dirty deed, dragged Addjunkie over to my friendly hypnotherapy man and we have both been hypnotised to try and combat the evil weed (tobbacco!!)
Don,t quite know if its worked yet , going out for tea with the "little darlings" soon :eek: ,so if we manage to get through that ordeal then I guess we,ve cracked it !!
wish us luck coz i,v just worked out that :
we both smoked 20 + a day = approx £10 a day x 7 = £70 a week x 52 =£3,640 per year :eek:
so if we stop thats a big chunk towards a new bike or a bloody good holiday !!

Well done! I did it myself back in Feb after smokin for 32 years, the patches worked for me, only two weeks on them and its done... ;)

Go for it! Gave up myself last September after 25 years (ish) Just went cold turkey, no patches or anything. Was fine after about 3 days, never looked back. You CAN do it.x

Congrats and just to give more incentive I turned up to work today and was told by the works director that the works manager had suffered a severe heart attack on fri 'died 7 times ' in the GP's surgary and had to be revived 12 times! :eek: he is now out of intensive care but still very ill and his poor wife is fighting the big C .He was (I hope he's going to give it up) a 40-60 a day man.the irony is they've just announced that all the offices in the company are now non smoking.

Well done!!! I haven't smoked for over a week due to lurgy so am hoping it can be a permanent thing. Am fed up with nicotine stained fingers, coughing and Mitch complaining because he's never smoked.
