considering how bad i thought things were gonna be i've been rather lucky

Friday Mad Dog and me finally finished strippping the Motor down to it's last nut an bolt checked all the bearing surfaces (them f***** con-rod bolts are tight) there all ok, Head & Barrells are fine aswell may change rings whilts it's apart oh and a new cam chain being as it's done 34,000 miles seems like a good idea aswell

so the parts list is.............

Complete Gasket Set
Rings
Cam Chain
Clutch Locknut
4 Circlips
Brake Lever
Number Plate
Rear Footpeg (which'll be a pain as they were a matching pair)

that's it lucky or wot

Finished Stripping and Cleaning the chassis a few chips and scratches to touch in
1 missing rear footpeg
bars to straighten
Carbs stripped cleaned and ready to be re-built
small re-wire job to sort (hiya Mad Dog again...)
Fresh oil Plugs and Oil filter

4-5 weeks it'll be back on the road ( depedant on parts being negioated with a few companies through friends for parts)

then its............

50 mile run in Oil change and filter

250 mile Re-torque head

thanks to a lot of people on the forums Al at Bikers1.com & Frenchie at Netbiker.co.uk who started whip rounds almost whilst i was still in a tree in helmsley to help me out and get it back on the road and of course every1 who has contributed to either fund

then it's fundraising time with a bucket & Placard at all the rallies i can afford to go to for the Yorkshire MAG FYP Marshalls

so from this i've learnt a few lessons i've found out who my real friends are people who care and some i've yet to meet so i've been so very very lucky
