Just been telephoned by someone who has an old (sorry - forgot to ask the year) yellow and black Yamaha DT250 in his garage that he is willing to give away.

The bike was stolen and recovered (minus lights and speedo clocks).

It should be a runner although it hasn't been used for a couple of years.

It is currently SORN'd and the V5 is available.

If anyone is interested in having this bike it is situated in Barnet near South Mimms Services just off the M25 Junction 23.

Call Bernard Mitchell on 020 8361 3651 or 07904 105546.

You know its kinda weird this really. Ive had nothing but crappy news this year, been off work for a while now so on so forth. I was chatting to a mate about it up the pub on sunday and was saying how i'd love a project like an old DT or the likes (Wanted a DT as i had one years ago and used to compete on it. Wanna compete in the vintage enduros now) to play with and keep my mind active. This has turned up at a brilliant but somewhat spooky time. Its like destiny :D Im gonna love this bike like, like, erm, like , well er bike that i really want :D Feckin perfect, just bloody peachy.
Sorry if im blathering on but it seriously has put a bloody smile on me chops. Once again, Cheers Liz and Cheers Bernard.

Yeah i know Techno but some things just come along at the right ime huh! Ive still gotta sell me KLR and im getting rid of the FZR and thought i was gonna be without a bike for a while. Ok, its not gonna be on the road for a while but at least i'll still have a bike and i bloody love workin on air cooled 2 strokes. Just sitting here patiently as possible till tomorrow now, its like a kid waiting on Xmas Eve :D Just hope some tight wad dont come along and spoil it for me now. I always tend to look at the bleak side until its there in my hand so to speak. Bernard sounded a nice bloke though so hopefully it well be ok. :D

I think you're OK with Bernard, as I think I'm the only one he discussed it with.

Let me know when you've got it.

And stop grinning like a Cheshire Cat, or we might start to believe that you are happy! :D
