Pass him our best wishes and tell him the less he looks at the nurses legs, the calmer his heart will be. ;)
Let us know which hospital and ward he's in so we can bombard him cards.
Likewise give him all our best and hope he has a speedy recoverery

Hi folks, not long been home.
After a barrage of tests and being hooked upto ecg machine. They have ruled out a heart attck, but the X-rays showed some minor damage to the heart. They say i had a angina attack instead.
They have let me out as long as I take medication and take things easy (not hard as i tire very easy at moment).
Gotta go back in next few weeks to have some fluid injected into me blood stream and more tests.......
Thanx for the call Kingo, sure will see me back on rally circuit soon
many thanx for the comments
Anginas bad enough, thank God it wasn't a heart attack.
Rest well and recover soon.

Glad to hear things are less serious than first thought. I've been there (heart attack/Stroke) and it's not amusing, especially as it means an automatic months ban on riding/driving, and then you have to get a doctor to say you're ok to ride after that!Take things easy, stick to a low fat diet (boring but necessary) and life can carry on as before. The support of a good bunch of mates works wonders too, and it looks like you've got that as well (my club were , and still are, brilliant). All the best. ;)

Many thanx to all for the comments, as you can appriciate they mean an aweful lot to me at the moment,
I am slowely getting better (too bloody slow for me but................)
I went for 1st walk yesterday only 500 yards or so but it bloody knackered me out, so all the hard work looseing weight and getting fitter over the last 18 months has gone to waste. (have lost just over 8 stone in 18 months :) this has come about as i am waiting to have an op on my spine ( fuse lower half of spine together), but have to get down to 18 stone for that)). I am still observing my diet, altho did have a bar of chocolate yesterday :) .
Gotta go back to hospital next week and have some dye injected in bloodstream and some exercise on tread mill ( if anyone has done this please let me know what happens !!! ) and hopefully I will know how bad or good things are.
The club have been great - altho over the weekend they were at a local fair, they were aware of what happened, as i was gonna be there, Lynne informed them. They have been on the phone and Sue (chairmans wife) is gonna come over and take Lynne shopping. ( shops 3 miles away - no buses !!).
I have informed Chaiman that the mixed disco will be going ahead, although I wil not be jiggling about ( dont know how im gonna behave myself). He is gonna arrange one of teh other club members to help me, THey are gonna arrange transport for me and get the disco erected. 9Great when you consider they are 19 miles the wrong side of me!!!)
Also I am involved with the chicken run http://www.thechickenrun.org.uk/ - meeting them at Peterboro and taking them to The Sloop at Donnington, were were holding a Disco for them and camping, All profits from the disco will be donated to the chicken run !!!! ( August 10th - free camping discoo £2.00 ) This is giving me something to look forward too. So If you would like to come please email me - You can just turn up, but it would be nice to know numbers !!!
Anyway enough of my problems - there are people out there far worse of than me .....................
Catch ya all soon
