documents for trike

can some one help me i am interesed in buying a trike and i am not right sure what documents to ask for and what they should give me when i buy a trike any help would be great :confused:

same as a car the normal vehicle log book. make sure the details on the log are the same as the trike.. ie it has been registered as a 'motortrike' etc
