Yes you can mention bikes, bout the same amount of time, got my first at 16 FS1E!! never taken a car test, (bloody dangerous fings  ) but only got round to passing test 3 ish years ago, so i'm stuffed for car engine trikes

Got my first bike when i was 6 (30 years ago  ), got on the road legally at 16 (20 years ago  ) and basically never been without a bike. Only passed my driving test when i was 29, passed my bike test at 18 cause i had a years ban at 17 for riding a motocross up the main holiday route in Mid Wales on a hot sunny afternoon, got 36 points on the totting up procedure :D
Biggest bike ive had was a Bandit 1200, smallest was a Yam Fizzy at 16 and i now ride a 2002 KLR650 and a got an FZR Foxeye streetfighter in me garage (I say streetfighter loosely cause it aint finished yet ). I'd say my fave bike lookin back was either my Bandit 12 or my Triumph speed triple t309 with gold Brembo wheels, nissin brakes etc :D

Been riding since I was 13, 30 years ago, on a Bantam round a field. Passed my test when I was 17 and currently have a Harley, A Yamaha Playmate 80 and at least one and a half bantams! (The Yam is up for sale if you're looking for a new scooterette Fayji?)

There seems to be a consensus round here about this....
Started riding bikes at age 17 (1990), passed my bike test in 2000 (same reason as Fayji - but for slightly longer, how about five and a half years!!!!!), the day I moved in with Mrs R!!!!
Then passed my car test a year ago, aged 30! In a way, I wish I'd done it years ago.
Passed my test just over a year ago (June 24th) at 24, got meself a gsxf600 after about a week an' a half, which lasted till the end of may when some silly tart smashed it. Lasted a bit less than a fortnight before I got meself a loan to get me current bike - a slabside gsxr1100 streetfighter. I'm also building a chop using an old cb900 as the donor bike.
The missus is learning to ride now too, test on the 20th.

Off road bikes from about eight years old (1973) then an FS1E at sixteen, then an AP50 (still got it in the back of moms shed), then a KH250, Z650 etc, etc, then trikes. Allsorts since then. Got a GPZ900, an XR400 and half a Reliant trike at the mo. Wife is having an unscheduled layoff (some bastard nicked her GS), but hopefully she should have a Z750 for a surprise Crimbo pressie.

Bought an RD200 when I was 16 (1989!) and rode around without a numberplate (or license) until I was 17 (250 learner law in NI until about 1992 :) ) Passed my test in 1993 (I had joined the RAF and they wouldn't entertain illegality). Favourite bike was an RG500 I built with USD forks, single sided swinger etc which some scum nicked!!
Currently got a CB550 soft-tail chop, Pop-up headlamp Katana, CBR1000 streetfighter, CB1300 and a nitrous 1500 GoldWing (13 second 1/4 mile :D )

i do hope you will not be upset if i decline your kind offer, the C70 was only a means to an end (pass test)
as i didnt mention my bike I currently have a 1100 dragstar in need of tlc so hope to find a middle weight dirtcheap (free) bike to play with while i clean 1100 up

Started off at 21 on a mobilette which took 2 star petrol (I was desperate for transport ok - stop laughing!!!).
Was a pillion queen for years but always longed to ride a bike of my very own but never had the opportunity - kid, no money, that sorta thing. Then I met Mitch and he taught me to ride and I passed my test last year at the age of 42. Now proud owner and all year round rider of chopped and customised Kawasaki GT 750.
I said I'd do my bike test if Mitch learnt how to drive a car so that's what we did.
Dream come true :) :) :)

My wife learnt to ride a bike in exchange for me going horse riding with her. We breed Shetland Ponies (got twenty nine of the terrors), so they were a bit too small so had to go to a riding school with loads of little Lord and Lady Fontalroys. Looked a bit odd cos I had right long hair at the time and the riding hat didn't match my boots and camo trousers. :o

Heehee, that vision of loveliness will stay with me for years ff's!!!!
Horses hate me, don't know why, they bolt and rear if I just look at them! They're probably thinking, "Don't sit on me you fat b*stard". :)

having read that, Ive just totted it up and so far from memory im at quite a lot, although admittedly a few of them never made it to being road legal. Mostly from working in bike shops and getting offered heaps for cheap and not being able to resist yet another hack to abuse/blow up/have fun with.
Ive got it down to a reasonable six at the moment after murdering my ft500 frame a few weeks back (but if anyones got a rgv250 with a dead motor, i have a hankering....) Course my missus delights in pointing out i should just get rid of the lot and have one "good one" but as they say variety is the spice of life..
Oh btw, I WOULDNT have them all back if i won the lottery, some of them are happily distant memories for good reasons (they were sh*te!)
ill have a go at the list thingy...

First powered two wheeler (I hesitate to call it a bike) was a Honda PC50. Strange thing with a direct drive engine mounted inside the back wheel! All my mates had scooters but my dad wouldn't let me have one because "the centre of gravity is too low which is dangerous" (!!!). Because the moped was restricted by exhaust back pressure I used to take the silincer off to keep up with my mates which destroyed the engine in a year. Graduated to a Honda 50 Cub (ooh-er - gears!). next was a 250N Wetdream, then a Suzi GS500 with Piper exhaust (very loud). Then came the xv1000 Virago, followed by the xv1100 Virago. At the moment I've got a Honda F6C (Valkyrie) which is massive but sweet to ride. Next?.........who knows. Bin riding since 16, which was a long time ago!

Think i fell off my first bike which was my first ride when i was 13.Used to spend hours polishing the big lads bikes just so i could have a go on the back.First road bike was a RD250 which was promptly nicked after 3 month. Then went through the suzuki 2 stroke range then after that i forget.
Ride a custom now that i got as a swap.True custom in that it was not built in Japan.
Passed my car test about 20 years ago because the wife objected to my suggestion that we bungee the 2 week old daughter to the bike rack. :D
Dont care what people ride as long as they do.Lots of young kids around here ride scooters and can be bloody annoying but i look on it if only a few move on to bikes then thats the future of bikes.
Look forward to annoying them in the future by wandering up to them as they park up saying"i used to have one of them, mind you that was when bikes were bikes etc"

Cant really remember what the mo-ped was. Probably a Mobylette. Remember the grin at having the engine speed overtake peddaling speed. Yeeee haaaaar.
Then it was Suzuki b120p.
GT250 with ram air. My first new bike.
T140V 2nd new bike. Fairly chopped by the time I sold it.
AJS 600 First home built chop from the ground up.
Swopped a GT 250 for a half built trike in 1979. (I got the bike.)
GS550
Free Honda 250
GS750
GSX750, Still got that one
Harley Shovel. In bits but going back together slowly.
Just picked up another Honda 250 for the kids. They want to chop it so that's what we shall do.
Not a great deal of bikes but I tend to stick with them for a while. Like to get my moneys worth.
