This may seem a daft question, but new to this 3 wheel malarky so bear with me.....

When you pop into your local town on your trike, where do you park it?
Can you park it in a motorcycles only section, or do you need to find the nearest meter or car park?

I think I know the answer but need to check.

:D

motorbike spaces cos it's insured as a bike and taxed as a bike

but ours is a small bike trike

so not sure about bigger car based trikes

i suppose it depends on the size

i asked my local traffic warden and he advised me that if it was in a parking bay i had to have a ticket. So i park mine in a bike bay :D

I usually have to park in a car bay and pay 60p for two hours cos the bike bays have got bollards round them.
Also we haven't got traffic wardens so to speak, they're council appointed school leavers with attitudes and green uniforms.

mine have always been small bike based ones, but after careful reading of the signs round my way, they stipulate that motor cars and vans etc parked in the marked bays need to pay, well its not a car or van????? and where do you safely leave a ticket on it??

although there is trouble brewing in the form of one of the towns car parks has a pay machine in the bike area, have to enter the reg number of the bike and pay in the machine, then they can check the reg numbers????

however the machine is solar powered!!!! and everytime Ive been near it, its out of order as some scally has taped a bin bag over it or painted all over the panel LOL
