Well, its only a week or so away, And I think its time to sort out whos going and if were going to meet up for a beer or two....

I've never been before, so I 'd like others who have been before to suggest a meeting point/pub/bar/etc where we could possibly get together to put some faces to the names, have a shandy etc...

I'll be arriving by air on the wednesday about 10 am and will be there till the tuesday.

I'll be the small fat old git in the royal stewart tartan kilt.....Easy to spot....lol

Near enough, they usually are, unless of course it's a hunting tartan. I myself have a drinking tartan, McEwans of course. I will not be in Faro either, but further down the coast in Gibraltar, it may not be good enough for the Queen or Tony B Liar this year but I reckon 300 years is worth a pint or two in the trafalgar bar.....

and those of you who haven`t seen the faro rally flyer.
http://www.motoclubefaro.pt/HomeUK/homeuk.html the ticket price is 33 euros, but like last year no doubt will suddenly increase slightly.
and the 10 day weather for faro is: http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/POXX0013?x=0&post=post&code=code&y=0

the oasis bar (the 1 with its own pond / pool) is always a good place to be late in a afternoon since it is where some of those exotic ladies do soon impromtue practicing :D but I`m usually found camped near the flea market over the road from the BSH gang

I usually get to the oasis bar on sat afternoon during the custom show.
but since someone else is travelling with me my plans arn`t set in stone, so I`m gonna be flexable, maybe spend more time on the beach this year.
but the 1st stop after putting the tent up will either be the local store or the jumbo for the voddie supplies
BTW, the fare from east mid a/port is currently £137.79 RTN.
